We're looking for a Mid-Level Designer to join NX Studio, NewtonX's in-house creative team.
This part-time hrs weekly) hands-on production role requires a designer who moves fast, sweats the details, and takes pride in work that meets a brand standard and is optimized for conversion.
You will be the primary execution engine behind NewtonX's visual output—translating brand strategy into assets that appear across web, social, email, sales collateral, and events.
You'll partner closely with the Creative Strategist and collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, demand generation, and sales teams to bring campaigns and programs to life.
Success depends on your ability to work comfortably within a defined brand system, move quickly, be AI-savvy, manage multiple concurrent projects, take feedback, and take real ownership over visual quality.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Brand & Visual Identity
Maintain and evolve visual standards across all brand touchpoints, ensuring consistency in color, typography, layout, and tone.
Produce brand-compliant assets from scratch or by adapting existing templates.
Support ongoing brand governance—flagging inconsistencies and contributing to an ever-improving design system.
Demand Generation & Campaign Assets
Design multi-format campaign assets including display ads, social graphics, landing page visuals, and email headers.
Work from creative briefs to produce on-brand, conversion-oriented materials at speed.
Collaborate with the Content and Demand Generation teams to ensure visual and copy alignment across campaigns.
Web & Digital
Produce web-ready graphics, banners, and UI assets optimized for digital performance.
Support updates to the NewtonX website and digital properties with production-ready files.
Ensure all digital assets meet accessibility and technical standards (file formats, resolutions, specs).
Presentation & Sales Enablement
Design polished, on-brand slide decks, one-pagers, and sales materials that equip the sales team to communicate NewtonX's value clearly.
Build reusable presentation templates that non-designers can use independently.
Work with sales and marketing to translate complex data into clean, digestible visual formats.
Print & Event Materials
Produce print-ready files for event collateral, signage, swag, and promotional materials.
Manage specs and file prep for external print vendors.
Support event presence and experiential design needs as they arise.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate
3–5 years of professional design experience, ideally in-house or at a studio working with B2B or tech brands.
Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Figma.
Experience with video editing or AI video software is a plus.
A portfolio demonstrating range—campaign assets, digital, presentation design, and brand-aligned production work, including examples of data visualization or technically complex content.
Actively testing and using AI design tools with a willingness to experiment, share learnings, and help shape how NX Studio adopts new tools.
Fluency in working within an established brand system, not just creating from scratch.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.
Clear communication and a collaborative attitude—asking good questions, flagging blockers early, and keeping stakeholders informed.
Comfort working remotely and asynchronously across the ET time zone.
Experience with HTML5 display ads or basic motion/animation is a plus, but not required.
