We are hiring a Staff Accountant to support a high-growth US-based DTC eCommerce company. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate, audit-ready financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and managing day-to-day accounting operations across multiple revenue channels. You will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, visibility, and compliance in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the end-to-end accounts payable (AP) processPrepare and assist in month-end close activities, including accruals and adjustmentsEnsure all financial records are aligned with US GAAP standardsPerform daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reconciliationsTrack and reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS)Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and account reviewsSupport audit requirements by preparing schedules and documentationMaintain accurate and organized financial records for reportingFollow and enforce internal controls and approval processesCollaborate with the Controller and cross-functional teams as neededSoftware/Platforms/Tools:QuickBooks (for accounting)Excel or Google SheetsGoogle Docs and GDriveSlack or ZoomAny inventory or ERP system (optional)Qualifications:At least 3 to 5 years of freelancing or remote work experienceExcellent written and verbal English communication (C1 or C2 level)3+ years of experience in Accounting or BookkeepingAt least 1 year of experience in DTC or eCommerce environmentsStrong understanding of US GAAP principlesAdvanced proficiency in QuickBooks OnlineAdvanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, data cleaning)Excellent written and verbal English communicationHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple accounting tasks and deadlinesNice to have:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldExperience working with multi-channel revenue streamsExperience supporting audits or financial reporting processesShift Schedule:Monday to Friday, overlap with US EST or CST preferred
