- You must have a solid practical technical background using or supporting petrophysical software, preferably on Geolog, or similar platforms for petrophysical characterization.
- You should be able to communicate your passion for great technology and interact efficiently with the Formation Evaluation Technical Operations Team based in South America.**Responsibilities**:- Supports clients locally or remotely by working on moderately complex issues, properly using all internal company procedures and systems for support, tracking and reporting, escalating issues of greater complexity to completion of the task with customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and propose workflows for reservoir characterization and petrophysical analysis.
- Expands knowledge of onsite and remote support standards, troubleshooting techniques, as well as use company´s knowledge base to better execute his/her tasks.
- Develops relationships with user base, learning about user populations and their challenges, and contractual obligations as appropriate.
- Learns about management metrics and conducts basic collection to support sales efforts.
- Participate in all mandatory training provided by the company, such as those related to Trade
- Compliance and all training related to compliance with legal regulations and / or Corporate Policies and may also be the mentor/guide of these issues if it is required.**Requirements**:- Bs. in Geology, Geophysics or Petroleum Engineering preferably.
- Experience with petrophysical analysis and characterization of conventional and unconventional reservoirs (3-7 years of experience preferably).
- Desirable experience with processing and analysis of special well data, such as borehole image logs, special core analysis, magnetic resonance, and full waveform sonic.
- Python knowledge and scripting capabilities to develop macros and custom workflows would be highly advantageous.
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge in quality management systems
