As a DB AMO Technician Mechanic you will work within a number of different processes/operations to repair Diamond Cutter Bits.As a DB AMO Technician Mechanic you will be responsible for:- Machining, welding, cleaning-up and quality inspection.
- Painting, pricing and bit shipping preparation.
- Setting-up and operating machines/tools for bit repair according to bit repair specifications and bill of materials.
- Participating in company Total Quality Management process, Self Directed Team process and Safety process.
- Training other team members.**Fuel your passion**:
To be successful in this role you will:- Be able to use a variety of measuring equipment, i.e., calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Be able to comprehend engineering drawings, specifications, routers, bull of materials, manufacturing procedures manual, basic math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, fractions).
- Have a High School technical diploma or associated degree in a mechanical field.
- Have 2 YRS of experience in electric welding or autogenous welding.
- Have knowledge of mechanical tools, hydraulic tools and welding. Demonstrate knowledge of welding and the use of a lathe.
