Ensure Spanish language support across the Scripta Member Portal so Spanish-speaking members can fully benefit from Rx navigation through their Health Plan.
Spanish is the first non-English language to be implemented, but the framework should be scalable to additional languages in the future.

Single-developer project, working independently
Key Responsibilities
Adapt an existing web application to be available in Spanish (currently only in English).
Implement internationalization (i18n) using existing resource files.
Work primarily on the frontend with React and TypeScript.
Provide support on the Java backend if required.
Requirements
Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in frontend (React + TypeScript).
Ability to work independently (only developer on the project).
Experience with Java backend (nice to have).
Proven experience in internationalization.
Feature Intent
Implement Spanish language support across all UI elements and static content in the Member Portal.
Depending on timelines, consider translation of non-UI workflows such as push notifications, emails, SMS, and marketing content.
Scope & Acceptance Criteria
Spanish translations integrated into all text-based features: login, registration, home page, savings workflow, savings explanations, menu options, coupons, search, my account, and GLP-1 content.
Language toggle available to users, with English as the default.
Language preferences stored between sessions.
Missing translations default to English.
Certain content remains in English unless legal/clinical provide official translations: drug names, member legal agreements, and specific clinical terminology.
Other Product Considerations
No performance degradation with Spanish support.
Spanish support should extend easily to new features and be adaptable for other languages in the future.
No health data/PHI sent to external translation services.
Nice to Have
Automatic language detection for first-time visitors, with the ability to override manually.
