Plans, develops, and implements strategies for organizational development, ensuring that activities of the section and department meet organizational requirements for quality management, safety, legal compliance, and environmental policies.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Establishes and maintains KPI targets and systems for measuring organizational performance.
Manages and develops direct reporting staff.
Monitors, measures, and reports on organizational development plans and achievements.
Manages and controls departmental expenditures within agreed budgets.
Liaises with other department managers to understand all necessary aspects of organizational development and ensures they are fully informed of objectives and achievements.
Approves reports, requests, and other operational procedures pertinent to the departments.
Formulates, recommends, and implements employee relations policies, benefits, and other personnel development programs and activities.
Establishes procedures and systems for employee appraisal and movements.
Assists in interpreting management policies to employees and representing employees' points of view to management.
Prepares company handbooks and manuals.
Provides solutions and resolves conflicts regarding industrial relations issues.
Handles recruitment processes including hiring, job description development, advertising, working with recruitment consultants, and conducting interviews.
Oversees training and career development by analyzing competency gaps, identifying suitable courses, and maintaining contact with external training resources.
Conducts salary research to ensure compensation is aligned with legal and industry standards.
Prepares payroll for confidential and monthly paid employees as needed.
Skills Must Have
Knowledge of wages, labor laws, and industrial relations.
Proficiency in personnel management tools and techniques.
Working knowledge of labor laws affecting employer-employee relationships.
Educational Background
Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
Preferably a graduate in psychology or behavioral sciences.
Experience
At least five years of experience in human relations and training functions within a manufacturing firm.
Experience in job evaluation, compensation, manpower planning, and development.
Additional Information
SALARY RANGE: Php 50,000 - Php 80,000 (depending on experience)
WORK LOCATION: Rosario, Cavite
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday: 7:00AM to 5:00PM; Wednesday: 7:00AM to 4:00PM; Saturday: 7:00AM to 11:00AM
Total: 48 Hours per Week
