- *Business Finance Specialist**\nin the Hydrocarbons business. This role serves as a key finance analyst for Global Hydrocarbons, supporting financial reporting, PVC, profit planning, forecasting, and ad‑hoc analysis. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams and manage key H&E; reporting processes, including estimates, roll‑ups, PVC reports, and budgeting.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their business finance expertise. We are seeking a results‑driven, business minded professional who can create immediate impact, deliver value, and drive process improvements.\nThe preferred location for this position is\n- *Houston (TX, USA)**\n, however Midland (MI, USA), Bahia Blanca (ARG) or Buenos Aires (ARG) can also be considered.\n
- *Responsibilities
- Manage key financial reports: P&L; estimates, PVC, profit plans, budgets and analysis.
- Coordinate financial data across derivatives.
- Lead estimate submissions.
- Improve reporting processes.
- Provide backup support to other business analysts as needed.
- Serve as SOX contact for Hydrocarbons.
- Handle ad hoc requests from finance leadership and corporate controllers.
- *Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant finance experience.
- For U.S.\nApplicants: A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.\n
- *Preferred Qualifications
- A degree discipline in Finance or Accounting.
- Cost accounting experience is a plus.
- Advanced degree or financial certification (i.e. CPA) is a plus.
