The Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of our accounting function (remote).
This is not a support role.
You will be the sole accounting resource for the company, responsible for maintaining clean, accurate books and ensuring the financial foundation of the business is strong, organized, and reliable.
You will work directly with the founders and have full visibility into the financial operations of a global luxury brand.
What You Will Own
You will be responsible for managing the entire accounting function, including:
Maintain the general ledger in QuickBooks Online
Record all financial transactions accurately and on time
Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and vendor payments
Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing and collections
Own and execute the monthly close process
Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Deliver a clean monthly reporting package to leadership
Identify and explain key financial trends and variances
Manage payroll through QuickBooks Online / Gusto
Ensure payroll taxes and filings are completed accurately and on time
Support onboarding/offboarding from an HR and payroll perspective
Maintain accurate inventory accounting (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
Track cost of goods sold (COGS) and gross margins
Ensure proper flow of costs through inventory to financial statements
Establish and maintain clean, scalable accounting processes
Improve workflows and introduce automation where appropriate
Coordinate with external CPA for year-end tax filings
What We're Looking For
This role requires someone who can operate independently and take full ownership.
Required
5+ years of accounting or full-charge bookkeeping experience
Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
Experience managing full monthly close independently
Hands-on experience with AR, AP, and reconciliations
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)
Strongly Preferred
Experience with inventory-based or product businesses
Experience managing accounting as the sole or primary accountant
Experience supporting U.S.-based companies
Background in public accounting or CPA track

Books are clean, accurate, and always up to date
Monthly close is completed on time without supervision
Financial reports are clear, organized, and insightful
AR is actively managed and collections are followed up consistently
Founders have confidence in the financials without needing to dig
