What will I be doing?
As a General Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Hotel Executive team and overall hotel targets to ensure an excellent Guest and Member experience.
Your duties will include: Managing ongoing profitability, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded Leading key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment Making decisions in the best interest of the hotel and Hilton Delivering hotel budgets and setting strategic goals Providing effective leadership to hotel team members Leading business planning processes Ensuring compliance with Hilton Brand Service Standards Controlling costs and sourcing revenue opportunities Developing the Hotel Executive team for career progression Holding regular briefings and communication meetings with the HOD team Responding to audits to ensure continual improvement What are we looking for?
To succeed as a Hilton General Manager, you should embody the following qualities: Experience as a General Manager or Director of Operations in a similar quality hotel Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent Strong commercial acumen with experience in increasing profitability Experience managing budgets, revenue proposals, and forecasting Excellent leadership and communication skills In-depth knowledge of the hotel, leisure, and service sectors Additional advantageous qualities include: Previous general management experience in a similar quality hotel What will it be like to work for Hilton?
