- Ensure customer satisfaction and meet contractual targets.Operational Reliability:
- Ensure the plant's operational reliability and availability as per the agreement.Performance and Development:
- Monitor plant performance indices.
- Develop competent operations resources.
- Approve annual operational plans and budgets.
- Manage operations-related costs.Agreement Management:
- Manage operational responsibilities in accordance with Agreement Management processes and procedures.
- Implement preventive and corrective actions to exceed customer expectations.Communication:- Communicate effectively with the plant team regarding equipment condition and performance.
- Provide suggestions for improvements.Personnel Management:
- Administer and train operations personnel.
- Set and maintain qualification and training standards for plant operations personnel.
- Ensure motivated personnel and good teamwork.Safety and Procedures:
- Implement plant safety policy and QEHS procedures.
- Establish and implement standard operations policies and procedures.Reporting and Budgeting:
- Prepare reports, plans, and budgets as instructed.
- Identify and seek to improve operational reliability and availability.Maintenance and Costs:
- Approve maintenance program planning in line with operational compromises.
- Negotiate costs and purchase materials related to operations services.Development:
- Develop and improve the operation plan and resources for its implementation and administration. Develop workingroutines at the plant.General Skills Needed:
- Cost awareness and effectiveness
- Knowledge of local legislations and labor laws
- Proficiency in Wärtsilä quality, safety, and environment standards
