This role is critical in criminal defense, where timely response and accurate information gathering directly impact case outcomes.\nThe position combines intake, information process, client follow-ups, and more. The idóneo candidate is, confident handling sensitive situations, and highly detail-oriented to ensure precise case documentation.\nUS Law firm experience is preferred.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nAnswer incoming calls and respond to urgent client inquiries professionally and calmly.\nConduct structured intake interviews for criminal defense matters, gathering detailed and accurate case information.\nEnter, update, and manage client data in case management software such as Filevine or Clio.\nAssess urgency and ensure critical matters are escalated appropriately.\nSchedule follow-ups and maintain consistent communication with prospective and active clients.\nProvide receptionist support, including call routing, message taking, and email responses.\nEnsure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with firm procedures.\nWho are we looking for?\n2+ years of experience in legal intake, criminal defense case management, or receptionist roles within a US law firm.\nFluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously.\nExperience using Filevine, Clio, or similar legal case management systems.\nAbility to remain empathetic, calm, and professional when handling distressed or urgent callers.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPosition: Legal Intake Specialist\nRemote Status: Fully Remote\nPreferred Location: Latin America, South Africa\nWorking Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST\nHolidays: US Federal Holidays\nSalary: USD 1000 - USD 1400 per month\nInternal Job ID: 1186
