Job Purpose:
The Payroll Transition Senior Manager is responsible for driving all transition initiatives of EYGDS for the Payroll service line.
The role requires experience in project management, business analysis, and change management to successfully execute high-profile transitions of large clients' data across multiple geographies.
A deep understanding of the BPO/shared services environment and exposure to the Payroll domain is essential.
This role supports initiatives within Global Payroll engagements.
Responsibilities:
Define standards, processes, and controls to ensure implementation, operations, and client-level readiness during transition from implementation to operational production.
Develop and communicate operational standards for use during implementation to ensure sustainable client solutions.
Determine methods and tools for validating implementation configurations in line with operational standards.
Create client-facing materials to prepare clients for transition to operational production, including training, tools, processes, contact lists, escalation procedures, and performance measures.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by meeting project cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Identify, manage, resolve, and mitigate risks and issues impacting delivery.
Establish effective procedures for setup of internal and external systems, tools, and processes during client transitions.
Act as an escalation point for exception-based service requirements.
Define and report on key performance measures related to client satisfaction and team performance.
Continuously improve transition training, documentation, and procedures based on feedback.
Assist in resource planning based on client scope and solutions.
Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain talent to meet or exceed job requirements.
Functional & Technical Skills:
End-to-end Payroll knowledge, including upstream and downstream processes.
Experience managing multi-country Payroll transitions in a shared services environment.
Flexibility, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
Excellent organizational and customer service skills.
Proficiency with IT and adaptability to new technologies.
Ability to define, document, and implement procedures across departments.
Effective engagement with prospects or clients to communicate value and scope.
Experience developing standard transition methodologies, tools, and templates.
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA or Business Management preferred.
10-12 years of overall experience, with at least 8 years in Human Capital or Payroll transitions for large organizations.
PMP certification is an advantage.
