Nurse Consultant/ Nursing Home Surveyor Durham & Surrounding Area (Mar del Plata)

- Survey nursing homes during routine surveys and complaint investigations.
\n
- Complete survey reports, including statements of deficiency and complaint allegation findings.
\n
- Conduct inspections occurring an average of three days per week, with occasional weekend and night shift visits as required. Overnight stays may be necessary when the nursing home is greater than 60 miles from the consultant’s home base.
\n\nQualifications\n\n
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.
\n
- One year of experience in the area of specialization.
\n
- Must pass the Federal Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) after training.
\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n
- Strong clinical background, including assessment, care planning and delivery of care.
\n
- Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively.
\n
- Demonstrated ability to compose technical reports using good grammar.
