As the Head of SMB Acquisition, you will play a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the expansion of Uber's presence in Argentina, specifically within the SMB segment. You will lead a high-performing team of 9 sellers, spearheading the strategy to grow partnerships and successfully increase the number of collaborating businesses. This role is key to driving commercial success and building a strong partner network in a fast-paced environment.What you'll doDevelop and execute comprehensive market-specific commercial strategies to acquire new SMB partners, leveraging prospecting skills and various outreach methodologies.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 9 sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous growth to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.Drive the end-to-end acquisition process for SMB partners.Allocate leads and resources to maximize team performance and optimize results.Ensure the team is proficient in tools and processes, supporting their continuous improvement and operational excellence.Utilize data-driven decision-making to identify growth opportunities, optimize segmentation, and adjust strategies based on market dynamics and competitive trends.Provide opportunity updates by regularly maintaining Salesforce, delivering weekly forecasts, and participating in quarterly business reviews.What you'll need6+ years of proven experience in full-cycle B2B sales or commercial leadership, with a strong focus on acquisition.Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving quota targets.Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed, data-driven decisions.Hands-on experience with Salesforce to manage pipelines effectively and optimize sales performance.Bonus pointsExperience in the tech, eCommerce, retail, or B2C internet industry.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.Resourcefulness, adaptability, and a go-getter mentality, comfortable navigating ambiguity while driving results.Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better.
